Therapeutic Exercise

What Is Therapeutic Exercise?

Unlike ordinary exercises aimed at general fitness, therapeutic exercises are planned to treat a specific condition or loss of function. The aim is to reduce pain, strengthen weakened muscles, restore restricted movement and support the tissue healing process. Each program is prepared specifically according to the person's needs following an assessment.

For us, exercise is the most important stage in making treatment lasting. The relief achieved with manual methods will not last unless it is supported by the correct exercise.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • Low back, neck and back pain — chronic complaints related to muscle weakness
  • Herniation and spinal conditions — the strengthening period following pain
  • Orthopedic injuries — tendon, muscle and joint problems
  • After surgery — recovery of movement and strength
  • People with postural disorders and muscle imbalance

How Is It Applied?

The program begins with our physiotherapist's detailed assessment; muscle strength, range of motion and areas of pain are identified. Then a personalized plan consisting of stretching, strengthening, balance and stabilization exercises is designed. The exercises are performed with correct form and control, gradually becoming more challenging. Throughout the process, your physiotherapist regularly updates the movements.

Benefits

  • Provides support to the joints and spine by strengthening weakened muscles
  • Helps reduce pain and prevent its recurrence in many cases
  • Increases range of motion and flexibility
  • Improves balance and coordination
  • Speeds up the healing process, easing the return to daily life

What We Do

For us, therapeutic exercise is never a standard list. First, our physician and physiotherapist assess you and identify the true source of the complaint. If there is pain and tension, we first provide relief with methods such as manual therapy, mobilization and, when necessary, dry needling, then move on to strengthening.

In the exercise phase, we base our work on the APPI method, combining breathing and strengthening to prepare a fully personalized, three-dimensional program. Because there is no disease, there is a patient; every body has different needs. Our aim is not merely to relieve pain, but to provide a lasting and solid recovery.

Don't postpone your pain.

With the right assessment and a personalised programme, the step you take today can change your tomorrow.
