What Is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle manual method, applied with very light touch, that addresses the structure between the skull (cranium) and the sacrum region at the lower end of the spine. No deep pressure is used; using their hands, the practitioner assesses tension in the area and applies light contact to support relaxation. The aim is to reduce tension in the tissues around the head, neck and spine, providing an overall sense of relief.
When Is It Used?
- Tension-type headaches — for tension in the neck and head region.
- Neck and upper back tension — for muscle-related stiffness.
- Stress and tension — when general relaxation of the body is needed.
- Jaw joint tension — as a supportive approach for stiffness in the head and jaw region.
- Sleep and relaxation problems — for restlessness related to muscle tension.
How Is It Applied?
The application is performed while the person lies comfortably. The practitioner places their hands on the head, neck and spine with very light contact and assesses areas of tension in the tissues. They then work to provide relief in these areas with gentle touch. The application is quite soft, and the person usually feels deeply relaxed throughout the session.

What We Do
We use craniosacral therapy in cases we consider suitable, as a gentle complement to our holistic approach. First, our physician evaluates the person and establishes the treatment protocol. Especially for clients with headaches or tension in the neck and jaw region, our expert physiotherapists plan this gentle application together with our other manual methods and personalized exercises. Our aim is to reduce tension and support the body's balance and overall sense of well-being.
